Born John Burke Krasinski in October 1979, John is an American actor and filmmaker. He is best known for his role as Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office.
Born in Brighton, Boston, he was the youngest of three boys of nurse Mary Clare and internist Ronald Krasinski. His mother is of Irish ancestry and his father is of Polish ancestry. John was raised Catholic.
He made his stage debut in a sixth-grade school production of the musical Annie. Krasinski graduated from Newton South High School in 1997 and then attended Brown University. In between that, he taught English as a foreign language for six months in Costa Rica.

In February 2018, her father said that Violet already had an ear for music. He was trying to entertain her by singing a children’s song, and all of a sudden, she joined in.
Unlike her sister Hazel, Violet adopted a British accent. That might have happened while she attended an in-person school in London during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Emily said, “My little one sent me a video of her singing Jingle Bells, and she sang in an almost Cockney accent. It was almost like Dick Van Dyke singing Jingle Bells. The craziest accent ever. It was kind of brilliant”.

Her father, John, revealed that fatherhood came with a lot of changes. In one interview, The Office star revealed he experienced an existential crisis following the birth of his first child.
