Has the travel bug bitten you? There are so many beautiful and amazing places to visit in the world. Here’s a list of some you’ve just got to get to soon.

Take a Trip to Bali, Indonesia

Whether you’re drinking a cocktail on one of Bali’s white sand beaches or taking a sunrise hike to the top of a volcano, Bali has something for everyone. Bali is known for its beaches for a reason. The beaches of Jimbara are especially perfect, as they’re less developed and touristy than some of the others.

Bali is also a great place to go if you’re looking to learn the art of meditation or yoga. With a rich religious history, it’s easy to get in touch with your inner yogi and find peace. Go on a retreat or simply visit a temple like Gunung Kawi. The 11th Century Hindu temple is composed of ten shrines cut out of natural rock in the cliff face on both sides of the Pakerisan River.

Tour Antigua

The Caribbean island of Antigua is another great beachy island  to visit. Full of beautiful beaches, tropical drinks and luxury resorts, this island has a little of everything. Antigua, a great beachy island to visit, has been extra popular because it’s hotels are spaced out and it’s not as bustling as some of the other islands.

Antigua is one of two islands that make up the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barubda. Both are worth the visit. Both islands are ringed with coral reefs making them a snorkeler’s or diver’s paradise. If you’re planning to island hop, a Caribbean cruise is the way to go.

Travel to Barcelona, Spain

If you’re looking for a place to explore that’s a little more urban but still has beaches nearby, take a trip to Barcelona. Barcelona is full of beautiful views, amazing museums and exquisite street markets. Eat paella and toast life with a glass of cava as you watch the sunset. Stroll La Rambla and buy fresh fruit at the market.

You’ll also want to tour the unique architecture of this area. Antoni Gaudi created some of the most incredible Catalan Modernist architecture and it fills Barcelona. This includes the still-to-be-completed Sagrada Família. The Sagrada Família is a massive and amazing Catholic basilica. Work on the church began in 1882 and is hoped to be completed in the next few years.

The Wild West

Moving from beach to dessert, take a road trip to some of the most beautiful places on earth, all located in the Western United States. The desert areas that make up much of the west are well worth the visit. Much of the land is organized into national parks, including Grand Canyon, Big Bend, Zion and Bryce. Most are just a few hours drive from each other. Zion and Bryce in particular are just a few hours apart.

With stunning landscapes and massive mountains, these parks are worth the visit. They encompass many terrains, from desert canyons to greenery-filled mountaintops. Parks offer activities like hiking, horseback riding and kayaking. You can camp in the parks or stay in a cabin or hotel in one of the many quaint towns that surround the parks. If you’re looking to see the setting of most movies set in the Wild West, this is the trip to go on.

Explore Perth, Australia

Perth is the capital of Western Australia and located where the Swan River meets the coast. It’s lined with sandy  beaches and filled with things to see. This includes riverside Kings Park and Botanic Garden, which is located on Mount Eliza and offers amazing city views.

Perth is unique because it’s very remote. The other large cities in Australia are on the other coast. But this means Perth has developed a unique, laid back culture all it’s own. Along with amazing beaches and year-round perfect weather, it’s also a great wine region. There’s a great art scene that’s well worth exploring as well.

No matter where you choose to go, go on the vacation of your dreams— and go soon!
